The Borough of Homestead is taking applications for a part time (20 hours per week) Code Enforcement Officer at a rate of $20-25 hour depending on qualifications. The Code Enforcement Officer performs a variety of duties in support of the Borough’s local code enforcement program; monitors and enforces a variety of applicable ordinances, codes, and regulations related to zoning, land use, building codes, health and safety, blight, and other matters of public concern; as well as, serves as a resource and provides information on Borough regulations to property owners, residents, and businesses. Applicants must be a high school graduate or possess a GED as well as a have a valid Class C PA Driver’s License. Successful completion of a background check and employment application is required.
